Help control moisture in sealed storage and shipping packaging with 500g indicating silica gel packets. Each non-woven sachet contains a mix of orange indicating beads and white silica gel, providing a visual cue to check the desiccant during use.
Understanding the Colour Change
The orange beads change towards green as they adsorb moisture. The white beads remain white and do not indicate moisture uptake. Check the indicating beads through the semi-transparent wrapper and replace used sachets as needed. The colour gives a guide to desiccant condition; it is not a precise humidity measurement.
Applications
Use with dry goods inside well-sealed, moisture-resistant packaging, including machinery crates, tool storage boxes, electrical equipment, optical equipment, textiles and leather goods. These large sachets help reduce humidity in the enclosed air during storage and transport.
