Product Description
5g Indicating Silica Gel Packets – Orange/White
Help protect moisture-sensitive items in sealed packaging with 5g indicating silica gel packets. Each semi-transparent sachet contains a mix of orange indicating beads and white non-indicating beads.
How the Colour Indicator Works
The orange beads change from orange to green as they adsorb moisture and approach saturation. The white beads remain white. Check the orange beads to decide when the sachet needs replacing.
Applications
- Camera cases, optical equipment and electronics packaging.
- Toolboxes, small components and enclosed storage.
- Moisture-sensitive items where a visible replacement indicator is useful.
Features
- 5g of mixed orange and white silica gel per sachet.
- Semi-transparent non-woven packaging lets you inspect the indicator beads.
- 35 × 45mm sachets.
- Five pack quantities, from 50 to 2,000 packets.
How to Use and Store
Place intact sachets inside sealed bags, containers or storage cases. The quantity needed depends on package size, moisture load, seal quality and storage conditions. Keep unused sachets in airtight packaging until needed.
Replace when the orange beads turn green. Contact us for confirmed reactivation instructions before heating sachets.
Do not eat. Do not open the sachets. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Contact us for suitability advice before use in food or pharmaceutical packaging.

Handy Silica Desiccant Bags
These desiccant bags will be very handy for my camera equipment amoung other things, especially as they will indicate by turning green that they are saturated with water. Unlike the original desiccant that came with the equipment.
